Dharwad: Rs 2 Crore Seized from a House in Kundagol

Hubballi: Election, IT, and police officials conducted a raid on a house in Ramanakoppa village in Kundagol on Monday and seized Rs 2.2 crore. Acting on a specific tip-off, the team raided the house belonging to Ningappa Jatar in Ramankoppa.

With the model code of conduct in place, the seizure of such a large sum of cash has raised suspicions. Since the amount seized has crossed the Rs 10 lakh mark, officials from the IT department will conduct further procedures and reveal more details,” said officers.
